September 14 marked the end of our 23rd edition! From September 4 to 14, FQD reunited with its audience in great numbers, both in theatres and in urban spaces!
In theatres, 24 Montreal-based choreographers and companies, along with 4 international choreographers and companies, were presented this year.
Across theatre venues and atypical locations, a total of 20 performances and short film screenings took place at Studio-Théâtre des Grands Ballets, Place des Arts, the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), the McCord Stewart Museum and Chez Personne – Le 312.
In urban settings, FQD offered 9 days of performances featuring 21 Montreal-based choreographers and companies, and 2 international ones.
FQD took over seven outdoor locations: Esplanade Tranquille, Jardins Gamelin, Kondiaronk Belvedere on Mount Royal, Place d’Armes, Quai 5160 – Verdun’s Maison de la culture, the Avenue du Musée of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and Médéric-Martin Park.
