From September 8 to 19, 2021, for its 19th edition, Festival Quartiers Danses (FQD), found the public in theatres and in an urban context. In theatres, 14 Montreal choreographers presented their creations in world premieres and/or Montreal premieres. A total of 21 performances took place at the Cinquième salle of Place des Arts, at the Salle Bourgie of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and at the Amphitheatre of the McCord Museum, allowing FQD to have three full houses during the festival.
