Biography

Born in Ostrava, Czech Republic, Vera Kvarcakova graduated from the Janacek National Conservatory. She danced with the Brno National Theatre, the Opéra national du Rhin and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens before joining the National Theatre Mannheim as a soloist.

Jérémy Galdeano was a dancer in the Ballet national de Marseille before joining the Grands Ballets Canadiens in 2001, where he remained for 17 years and was promoted to first soloist. During this time, he created several pieces for the company’s choreographic workshops. His creations were performed in Canada, Germany, and Mexico.

After choreographing on their own and becoming dance partners with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Jérémy Galdeano and Vera Kvarcakova started collaborating. Together, they developed a similar perspective on aesthetics and music, and now create distinctive choreographies by associating their complimentary ideas.
