Originally from Saskatchewan, Shawn Hounsell first distinguished himself as a principal dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. Now an award-winning international choreographer, he creates vibrant works for prestigious companies in Canada, the United States, and Europe, notably in Prague.
