Artistic Director of Compagnie Sursaut
Originally from France, Morgane Le Tiec became artistic director for the Sursaut Dance Company in January 2022. She performed in Québec with renowned companies, including La la la Human Steps, Ballets Jazz de Montréal, Marie Chouinard and Cirque du Soleil. Her choreographies were showcased throughout Québec. She recently created pieces intended for younger audiences, proving her wide artistic talent.
My choreographic work stands out for its humanistic and spiritual dimension. I draw inspiration from a vivid imagination to create worlds that resonate with all kinds of audiences. My creations, rooted in expressionist and theatrical dance, oscillate between physical and visceral power, while embracing a meticulous approach to movement and deep interpretive work. Optimistic and radiant by nature, I infuse my works with a touch of humor and hope, convinced that art can be a source of inspiration for everyone.
