Emmanuelle Lizère is a graduate in music and musicology, and also holds a diploma in art therapy and psycho-pedagogy from the University of Paris V. Her interest in infancy and early childhood has led her to develop a multi-sensory approach to music for children aged 3 months and over, in day-care centers, nursery schools and schools. Trained in various approaches to musical awakening, including Orff, Willems, Martenot and Dalcroze, she has been working with children in schools, day-care centers, festivals and museums for over 25 years.

She develops the tigouli approach through performances combining acoustic music and interactive electronic
for children aged 1 to 4. These shows have been presented at a number of festivals, including Petits bonheurs, both in Quebec and internationally. Since 2011, she has designed and produced a number of museum and exhibition programs for toddlers (aged 2-5), combining painting, sculpture and music, including Méli-mélodie at the Musée d’art moderne, Centre Pompidou in Paris, Les petits bruits de la toile, Le chant de verre and Borduas et compagnie at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Schönberg, peindre l’âme at the Musée d’art et d’histoire du Judaïsme in Paris, Deux yeux, deux oreilles quelle merveilles, Maison.
