Choreographer
Emma Walsh, a 2024 graduate of L’École de danse de Québec, is collaborating with Lila Dubois Pagesse to create Corps à Cœur, their first joint work. Emma has over ten years of experience in competition and the performing arts and has danced with the Opéra de Québec and Danse K par K, among others. A dedicated performer, choreographer, and teacher, she develops an expressive and athletic movement style.
Corps à Cœur is a mesmerizing work that explores human connections through partner work and illusion. By merging our bodies, we create hybrid, shifting forms, where individuality fades away to make way for a shared entity. Driven by athletic, sensitive, and fluid dance, the piece blends physical contact, metamorphosis, and visual poetry in a dark, immersive world inspired by our respective journeys and sensibilities.
