Choreographer and performer

A multidisciplinary artist from Minnesota, Amara Barner currently resides in Montreal, Quebec. At 18, Amara was the youngest performer in the Montreal Rubberband Dance Company. She travelled and danced internationally with the company from 2016 to 2021. In July 2020, Amara was featured in Dance Magazine as a “burgeoning artist”. She also studies fibres and materials at the Concordia University and combines her passions for textile arts and dance into performance setups.
