Choreographer

A graduate of DancEast and the Quebec École supérieure de ballet (ESBQ), Adrian W.S. Batt has collaborated with renowned choreographers including Gioconda Barbuto and Vanessa Garcia-Ribala. In 2018, he was awarded the Excellence Grant from the ESBQ’s youth program of Caisse de la culture Desjardins. As a member of the Compagnie Marie-Chouinard since 2019, he has toured 8 countries. His piece “Mundi Scaenam” was presented at Festival Quartiers Danses (FQD) in 2019. With his company Gargoyle Dance Club, he created “Lunctio V” in 2021 and the solo piece “Longueur d’Onde” for dancer Mateo Picone, a long-time artistic partner. “Stichomythie”, created in 2020 for the 20th FQD, is his most recent choreography.
