The FQD’s cultural mediation team is proud to present the co-creation of the cultural mediation project Danse tes mots of the fall session 2022: twenty poster-poems, produced in collaboration with photographer Camille Gladu-Drouin and graphic designer Michel Valois!
The posters will be exhibited at the partner organizations Bienvenue à NDG and CARI St-Laurent, testifying to a creative, collective exploration and a shared sensitivity during the workshops. All project participants also received a ‘mini’ version of these posters.
The idea behind this attention is to allow them to preserve in memory the quality of the movements that were explored during the workshops while attesting to their journey of learning French. The acquisition of the lexicons proposed by the artists allowed the participants to express their poetic essence and enrich their relationship with the French language, giving birth to this magnificent co-creation.
Thus, another cycle of the project concludes with many emotions and superb poems written by participants from all walks of life.
A warm thank you to our collaborating artists of the fall session in 2022, Sarah Khilaji, Estelle Lavoie, Marie-Paule Grimaldi, Camille Gladu-Drouin, and Michel Valois!
The Project Danse tes mots is funded under the Agreement of cultural development of Montreal between the city of Montreal and the Government of Quebec.
