From February 19 to March 8, Quebec choreographers Pauline Gervais, Jason Martin, and Charles Brecard each created a 10-minute piece with the dancers, conductor, composers, and costume department of the Wroclaw Opera Ballet, as part of Żywioły III, a platform dedicated to emerging choreographers.
After two intensive weeks of rehearsals, the works were presented on March 7 and 8 on the stage of the magnificent Wroclaw Opera House, offering the audience bold and vibrant new creations by nine company choreographers and three Montreal choreographers:

This project is part of the 2025 bilateral exchange between FQD and the Wroclaw Opera Ballet.
For its 23rd edition in 2025, FQD will present a Polish Focus in collaboration with the Wroclaw Opera Ballet. The program will feature the work of artistic director Malgorzata Dzierzon from the Wroclaw Opera Ballet, a solo by choreographer Janusz Orlik, and a surprise performance! This international collaboration will strengthen ties between dance in Quebec and Poland.
