Festival Quartiers Danses will return to the Salon du livre de Montréal for a second consecutive year with a unique activity: Danse tes mots, a creative workshop blending writing, poetry, and movement, co-organized with the organization Debout : Acte de parole.
Dance the language, play with words!
Co-led by Yanis Benyouci, spoken word artist, and Estelle Lavoie, choreographer, performer, and founder of the group Taafé Fanga, this workshop offers playful exercises combining words and movement. Whether you are passionate about literature or learning French, this workshop is open to everyone: a true poetic playground where you’ll be invited to explore the sensitive nuances of the French language, where words come to life, transform into gestures, and inspire the desire to dance!
