Une ContreVérité is a danced duo that makes use of the twin ploy to depict a singular moment in a woman’s life. Facing a mirror, facing her double, a woman gazes at herself, styles her hair, puts on makeup, gradually sowing unease and ambiguity. While madness takes over social mechanisms, human beings reveal their vulnerability and their sensitivity. A fifteen-minute piece, Une ContreVérité targets simplicity and the essentials. This choreography won the Festival Quartiers Danses 10th Edition Audience Award in 2012.
