Le Smile Club – Immersive | Kyra Jean Green

11 sept + 12 sept 2026 | 18h30Le Monastère

Description

Step inside Le Smile Club, an immersive dance experience where the audience moves through a haunting world of live performance and cinematic illusion. Surrounded by dancers inside the atmospheric walls of Le Monastère, spectators become witnesses to a mysterious society built on the promise of happiness at any cost.

Inspired by alleged psychiatric practices from Depression-era Budapest, Le Smile Club blurs the boundaries between dance, film, horror, and psychological ritual. As reality fractures and the line between healing and control begins to disappear, each character reveals another unsettling layer of the experience.

Dark, intimate, and unlike anything you’ve encountered before, Le Smile Club invites you to step inside—and decide for yourself whether the smiles are real.

This show by the Trip The Light Fantastic company is co-presented by Festival Quartiers Danses as part of its 24th edition.
