Through incessant back-and-forth, the duo RESET performed by Véronique Giasson and Laurent Le Gall, pushes the body’s physical limits while imposing strict and precise movements. Featuring music from LACRYMOBOY (Aix-en-Provence, France), the piece sheds light on the infinite possibilities offered by a point A to point B trajectory. Every new and progressively more complex start is built on a road that has already been travelled, on the past of two bodies restarting their voyage, over and over again.
“Véronique’s choreographic style is halfway between classical technique and the energy and momentum of contemporary dance. Her dance is influenced by the various choreographers she has worked with all around the globe. Her creative priorities are to refine movement and emphasize the moving body. Her acute sense of music and precision are two of her most defining qualities as a performer and a choreographer.”
