Description

nodus tollens (n.): when the narrative thread breaks. And yet: breathing, finding one’s bearings, moving—first in the details of the gesture, a place to generate meaning and remain present, moment by moment. This solo is a mark in time, a testament to this summer, revealing to Lamont that the stories that have carried them this far are no longer enough to explain who they are becoming. Their past inspirations return to them as a starting point. A chosen legacy in dialogue with a voice still searching for its own. And a tribute before everything changes again. A vulnerable and honest work: a testament to what we choose to become, once the thread is broken, in the face of what has not yet been written.
