Moïra | Morgane Le Tiec

7 September 202414:00Cinquième Salle | Place des Arts

Through symbolic tableaux, alternately dark and colorful, this piece explores the multiple aspects of the human condition. Three female witches, embodying the sisters of destiny, deploy their energy in a dance that is both mystical and earthly, gradually evolving into ethereal, dynamic choreography.

Set against a spellbinding visual and aural backdrop, we witness the performers’ skilful use of their long braids to play with fate. These accessories, true extensions of their bodies, symbolize the various emotions of the three Moires.

Hourglasses, symbols of the passage of time, accompany the audience to the final ritual, inviting them to connect with their own humanity. This powerful, sensitive and zany piece will captivate audiences of all ages.
“Moïra is the part of life, happiness, misfortune and glory assigned to each mortal by fate, and which the gods themselves cannot change.”
