A man is sitting alone on a public bench. He talks to bystanders, hoping to share with them. Agitated, he offers fragments of his life, his impressions, and his obsessions. A woman is sitting next to him. A story starts taking shape, repeating itself every day on public benches: sketches of incomplete lives, and fortuitous encounters. Lewis et Lucie is a poetic evocation of marginalization, loneliness, and life’s small fractures.
