Description

Canadian artist of Philippine and French origin, Janelle Hacault breathes her rich multidisciplinary experience into Kapwa, a solo born from a pilgrimage to her ancestral land. Recognized for her work on stage, on screen, and in the circus arts, she explores themes of identity, femininity, and belonging. Drawing on the Philippine philosophical concept of “Kapwa”—the profound interconnection of all beings—the choreographer reimagines an existence liberated from patriarchy and capitalism.
