Insectoïdes | Pauline Berndsen Danse

9 September 202419:00Cinquième Salle | Place des Arts

Description

This duo explores the fascinating world of insects with grace and agility, highlighting their diversity and unusual forms. The two artists embody the complexity, duality and mystery of insectoid life, a miniature universe rich in character, strength and solidarity.

In Insectoïdes, the speed of insects’ legs and the curiosity of their antennae come to life through fluid, disjointed, jerky movements. Each gesture becomes an artistic expression of the subtle interactions and complex relationships inherent to the insect kingdom, as well as a plunge into their psyche and reflexes.

Through this captivating performance, the artists invite the public to immerse themselves in a unique visual adventure, rediscovering the wonder of nature and celebrating the eternal fascination of the insect world.
