Double Poem explores the relationship between the creator and the created through the body. When I encounter poetry, painting, or music, I imagine my body existing within the world each work evokes. By projecting myself into these imagined spaces, I seek to grasp what I perceive as their essence. This essence, I believe, is life. And life itself appears to me as a miniature of overwhelming nature. If life is a miniature of nature, then we, too, exist as its fragments—condensed forms of a larger, immeasurable whole.
In this sense, every artwork becomes a miniature of its creator. Through processes of expansion and reduction, artists attempt to express the vastness of the world, the universe, and life itself.
Double Poem is a dialogue between the creator and the created. It is not a dialogue with others, but with the self—one that moves beyond reflection, traversing past and future, engaging with a self that exists both within and beyond the body.
