Danser avec le temps | Office National du Film du canada (ONF)

Danser avec le temps features four dancers and choreographers from Montréal at various stages of aging. Erin Flynn (in her forties), José Navas (in his fifties), Louise Bédard (in her sixties), and Paul-André Fortier (in his seventies), tell us how they adapt to their changing bodies and the demands of the artistic world. As they answer the question “What did you gain with age as an artist?”, they show how they handle the challenges of aging with kindness, humility, and creativity.

Their compelling stories are a testament to the strength aging can bring to movement artists. As they identify candidly how aging has forced them to abandon some things and adapt to others, they also reveal how the passing of time has strengthened their patience, compassion, love, thirst for life, and desire for creation.
