Falling asleep to escape. Escaping to live the dream. But what happens when everything turns into a nightmare? Trapped in the same dreamlike journey, they take turns trying to confront what is unsettling them. Bordélique unveils a world turned upside down, born from the dreams and nightmares of the creator Mélissa Martin—Melmaze. Aimed at the child within us all, the first choreographic work by this ambitious, multi-style artist, teacher, and mentor conveys a fragmented imagination expressed through movement inspired by street dance concepts. A fascinating rite-of-passage dream where reality and fiction intertwine.
