During workshops given in residential and long-term care centers, the festival’s cultural mediator observed the residents’ attention and sensitivity to movement. Although for many of them it was demanding to interact in a workshop setting and to remain attentive, their appreciation for the short choreographies presented was palpable. Due to the limited mobility of many of them, it is difficult for them to attend a dance show in a theatre. We have therefore developed a new formula adapted to this audience: omitting the workshop to devote ourselves to the complete presentation of a choreography, followed by a discussion with the artists.
