Would you like to get involved in Montreal’s cultural scene and experience the world of contemporary dance from the inside? Festival Quartiers Danses (FQD) is looking for volunteers to help ensure the success of its 24th edition, which will take place from September 9 to 19, 2026.
Every year, our team of volunteers plays an essential role in making the festival a success. By joining us, you’ll help welcome the public, assist the artists, and carry out various tasks that ensure the performances and activities run smoothly. It’s also a great opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at a dance festival and meet artists, cultural professionals, and other enthusiasts.
No specific experience in dance or event is required. Above all, we are looking for dynamic, curious, reliable, and dedicated individuals who want to contribute to a shared cultural experience and help promote contemporary dance in Montreal.
By joining the FQD team, you’ll have the opportunity to:
• Get a behind-the-scenes look at how a contemporary dance festival is organized;
• Interact with artists from here and abroad and collaborate with the festival’s various teams;
• Take on a variety of tasks based on the festival’s needs and your availability;
• Gain experience in the cultural and events sector;
• Attend several performances presented as part of the festival for free.
