Kristen has performed works by Jiri Kylian, Paul Lightfoot & Sol Leon, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Hans Van Mannen, and Hélène Blackburn, amongst others. She has danced with the Nederlands Dans Theater, Le Ballet de l’Opera de Graz, Le Jeune Ballet du Québec, and independently. She has choreographed alongside François Chirpaz for the Ballet Jazz de Montréal. She has also created works for the Dresden Semperoper Ballet, Korzo Theater, Mac Orlan Theater, and Moving Arts Festival, among others. Kristen holds a Parkinson En Mouvement teaching certificate and is currently pursuing further research in dance-therapy. Kristen has been teaching dance for over 10 years, and is currently teaching at Collège Sainte-Anne in Lachine.
Dance is a vehicle for reflection on the human adventure, a personal search where movement, emanating from the depths of the body, sets the scene for the individual’s authenticity and vulnerability.
