Kristen Cere


Kristen has performed pieces by Jiri Kylian, Paul Lightfoot & Sol Leon, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Hans Van Mannen, and Hélène Blackburn, among others, with companies such as the Nederlands Dans Theater, Le Ballet de l’Opera de Graz, Le Jeune Ballet du Québec, and as an independent artist. Kristen has also taught for over 10 years and currently does so at the Collège Sainte-Anne in Lachine. Choreographer in collaboration with François Chirpaz, with whom she was invited to created pieces for the Ballet Jazz de Montréal, the Dresden Semperoper Ballet, the Korzo Theater, the Mac Orlan Theater, and the Moving Arts Festival, among others. Kristen is currently conducting research in dance therapy and holds a certificate from the Parkinson’s Dance Project.

Artistic Vision

Dance is a vehicle for reflection on the human adventure, a personal search where movement, emanating from the depths of the body, sets the scene for the individual’s authenticity and vulnerability.
