Julie Tymchuk

Biography

Julie Tymchuk is a 2012 graduate of École de danse contemporaine de Montréal. She is presently pursuing her studies at Concordia University’s Dance Department. She has performed for several Montreal choreographers (Hélène Langevin, Simon Ampleman, Emily Jean Honegger, Geneviève Gagné, Katia-Marie Germain and Johanne Madore). Curiosity and love of bodily expression fuels her solo and collective work. She has presented HELMUT at Festival Quartiers Danses in 2017 in collaboration with Marie-Pier Gilbert. Her recent work includes the solo Des paillettes et des hommes, and InTheDazed (collaboration with Marie-France Jacques).
