My artistic approach in this work utilizes both theatre and contemporary dance practices I have adapted. The practice of what we call shapeshifters are created by morphing one or more emotional state(s) of the whole body and face to another without fully completing them. The idea is that a gesture has a life of its own, and the performer is the open channel in which it can express itself. This deep work is essentially an exercise of mindfulness, sensitivity and awareness.
