Biography

Filmmaker Marlene Millar has created dance, documentary and experimental media productions since 1989. 30 of her works were featured in her recent exhibition at Threshold Artspace, UK, with the premiere of her installation, Witness. 10 co-creations with Philip Szporer from their acclaimed body of work as Mouvement Perpétuel were also featured.  Refuge is the 7th film with choreographer Sandy Silva, their Migration Dance Film Project has been honoured with over twenty-five awards at festivals such as Aesthetica, San Francisco Dance Film Festival, Cinematica, Cinedans.
