Sandy Silva
Migration Dance Film Project

Filmed at the Gouffre d’enfer in France, TRAVERSE weaves the powerful performances of five women and forty local participants into a collective set of experiences, revealing a crossroads of dance, movement and voice … a unified experience in a profound personal and collective journey. The expedition takes place amidst natural and man-made structures: a massive rock wall, a stone stairway, a narrow bridge—places for connecting, for meeting other travellers who are crossing unfamiliar terrain but sharing a similar trajectory.
