Blue

Margie Gillis

Blue is a contemplation of forgiveness through the exploration of a personal journey. First choreographed in 1998 to Leonard Cohen’s song “Famous Blue Raincoat,” sung by Jennifer Warnes, this film is a 2021 revival of the original choreography. The piece is performed by Margie Gillis and Susan Paulson and directed by Louis-Martin Charest, with Cohen’s full support.
