Divided We Scroll
Technology is altering our behaviours and changing our physical habits and mental processes. Divided We Scroll is both an experiment and a disturbing representation of our intimate relationships with these technologies—relationships that have become obsessive, compulsive and polarizing. Through contemporary dance, the film explores the realities of a constantly connected world, where data and software continue to redefine us in an increasingly complex technological network.
Biography
Klaas Diersmann is a London-based filmmaker whose award-winning films and experimental projects explore a wide range of subjects and have been screened internationally. He is particularly interested in how humans and society interact, and how they are affected by the emerging challenges created by new technologies and ecosystems.
Thi short-movie is presented in collaboration with Screen.dance Festival on Dance on Screen (Scotland).
