Touch
To be happy, human beings need each other. We need physical contact; we need to love and be loved. As the current state of the world pushes more and more people to isolate themselves and the mental health of the population declines, Elon Höglund and Amara Barner’s choreographed duet highlights the importance of touch, human relationships and communication. It is a call for hope.

Artistic vision
For each of my projects, the process is different. In some cases, I have a very clearly defined concept that I use as inspiration to draw or write; in others, I jump right into improvisation. I also sometimes draw my inspiration from literature and music, but the one consistent element is a playful and curious mindset.
