Merging Bodies

Pauline Gervais

Merging Bodies is a short film about dance where distance and proximity combine to create a new paradigm. Living in this current world where our bearings and our relationship to each other are upside down, two performers seek to connect despite the invisible barriers between them. Through fluid, disjointed and spasmodic body language, this duo merges to become twin entities despite the space that separates them.
